I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Research Triangle Park, NC) in Jun 2016
Interview
I applied online. I was contacted about speaking over the phone but ended up meeting the talent consultant in person at a career fair before the phone call so I didn't actually have the phone screen. He contacted me about coming in for an interview (RTP, NC). There were two 40 minute interviews, one behavioral and one technical. An hour after the interview I was contacted with good news. Be sure to show a passion for the LEAP Program as well as technology and what you do during the interviews.

Interview
The entire interview process was very comfortable and professional. Fidelity did a great job making me feel comfortable during the whole process. I applied for the LEAP Program class going in for January 2018.
The first step of this application was a video screen. They send you a link to take a virtual interview with them. It's a little different, because it's not a two-way interview. When the interview begins, you have a question that pops up on the screen and you have thirty seconds to prepare an answer, and then three minutes to answer the question. There are six total questions on this step, and you get one retake if you didn't like the way it went.
I got called the next day asking if I could schedule a time to interview on-site, and I accepted. This in-person interview consisted of a tour of the campus (with any other interviewees), followed by a technical interview (40 minutes), a behavioral interview (40 minutes), and ended with a meeting with a previous LEAP graduate. The technical questions were focused on writing simple SQL statements, basic OOD concepts, and overall the fundamentals of coding. If you're stressed, take a deep breath! As I said, they do a great job making you feel comfortable.
After this step, I waited a few days and got a call from the HR team extending an offer. It was a great experience, and I'm very excited! My biggest piece of advice would be to take the interview seriously and study. I took some time and reviewed a bunch, but that's because I really wanted this position. If you're passionate and can relay that, I think that works to your advantage too.
Good luck!
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Behavioral: Very standard questions.
Tell me about a time where a project member wasn't pulling their weight.
Tell me about how you handle constructive criticism.
My advice would be to Google some examples on behavioral interview questions and practice them!
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments in Sep 2016
Interview
The interview process had 2 interviews with one behavioral followed by a technical interview of 45 minutes each and was fairly simple. The interviewers seemed nice and did not make me feel uncomfortable at all. The technical interview was based on the resume and therefore did not cause much problem at all.
