      Marketing Interview

      Sep 6, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Boston, MA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Boston, MA) in Jul 2022

      Interview

I went through several rounds of interviews for two separate marketing roles at Fidelity, and the process was a nightmare. The interviews themselves were easy and pleasant. However, the process took several MONTHS, only to be left with no response before the final round, and despite following-up with the talent acquisition team several times. After speaking with several others who also recently interviewed with Fidelity, it seems as though this is the norm. I ended up losing interest due to Fidelity's lack of respect for the candidate's time. I understand there are a lot of positions to fill, but this isn't the way to go about it.

Several interview rounds with manager and then future team members to ensure good fit. The interviews didn’t require answering questions out of any ordinary interview. Offer came about a month after first interview.

      Interview

Long application process as they use a terrible and laborious TAS system for the candidate. Interviews are repetitive and time consuming and they always choose the internal candidate anyways! Don't waste your time. Then they add you to their talent email distribution telling your about the culture at their company and why you should work there. No thanks.

      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Salt Lake City, UT) in Aug 2023

      Interview

Super straightforward. They took awhile to get back after the initial submission, however it was a fairly fast process afterward. Their communication fantastic and I was never left wondering where I stood in the interview process. I didn't get the job, but if every company handled hiring this way, looking for a job would be much less of a headache.
