Entry Level Customer Service Representative Interview

      Jan 31, 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Jacksonville, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Jacksonville, FL) in Jan 2023

      Interview

I actually did the second part of my interview this morning. First I applied on 1/10, then on 1/14 (4 days later) I received information from the Talent Acquisition team for a phone interview. Phone interview consisted of one person on the other line, and lasted about 30 minutes. I was asked questions asking about my knowledge of the roll, the knowledge of the differences between the 3 tests that are required to pass to start the position (Series 7, 63 and SIE), and behavioral questions. I was asked to be VERY SPECIFIC of actual events on how I handled calls. There was about 5 questions I had to be specific about. You will be told that a drug, credit and background check is needed and other info about the work schedule, hybrid environment and to make sure you know things about the position that may or may not work for you. The training is long, about 10 weeks. If they like you after this, you'll go on to a live Zoom meeting. On 1/20 (6 days after phone interview), I was given information about the Zoom meeting and links to completing licensing and registration forms and to fill out the credit check application, and I was told I would get a call on 1/30 to "prepare" me for my zoom meeting the next day. This preparation call was super quick, as she felt I was already well prepared. Just said wear business Dress, be in a space free of distractions, have knowledge about the exams, have at least 2 questions to ask, and be VERY specific on behavioral questions again. I did the Zoom meeting today, 1/31. It was just one person. She was super nice. It was easy going, flowed like a conversation which I really enjoyed. I was not asked any "situation based" behavioral questions, but instead filled in gaps of information about the position its self, work schedule and more about me and how I would fit the roll. Also information on how tough the studying can be and to make sure I understood it will be rigorous. That lasted about 45-50 minutes. So the process from application and zoom video interview was 21 days. So far, I felt more nervous about thinking about the interview, but actually on the interview, I wasn't nervous. I haven't gotten the offer yet but I can feel its coming so I selected I accepted :)
