I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Covington, KY) in Nov 2023
Interview
Submitted the application online and was reached out to from a recruiter within ONE hour of submitting the application.
From there we had scheduled a preliminary screening phone call where we went over my basic experience and it was to feel out if I was a good applicant for the job. LOW PRESSURE, this is not an act interview. It was very conversational and was literally just meant to see if I was a good fit for the role.
Then If you are deemed a good fit, the recruiter will send you the emails for a credit check and you will need to submit that and the recruiter will follow up in about a week to go over the results of the credit check. If OK, you will then schedule the actual interview and the recruiter will answer any questions you have and prepare you for the interview.
The interview is then about another week later and this will be with two people. They will ask you plenty of behavioral questions ("tell me about a time you...") the recruiter will fill you in on all this during the second phone call. Be yourself. It is an interview and you will probably be nervous, not a big deal. Answer with the STAR method and come up with tons of examples and be ready to use them and you will be fine. Expect to go over your experience and most of the behavioral questions will be something like "tell me about a time you had to deal with an angry customer" or "tell me about a time you helped a customer, but they did not get the result they were looking for?"
Be sure to know what the required FINRA licenses are. What they are called and what they do for you.

I interviewed at Fidelity Investments (Merrimack, NH)
Interview
The interview process was quite easy with two steps:
Introductory Call with recruiter - make sure you're a right fit
Call with a team leader - Mostly behavioral interview utilizing STAR method.
Very corporate. Be ready for answering questions in STAR format. Also brownie points for knowing a lot about Fidelity. Obviously there are set questions the interviewer has to ask you. The more you know the better. They are very much wanting you to be 100% all in for working for fidelity.

They low balled the salary range and change it from what they offered in the original job posting. I would recommend looking elsewhere for this type of role unless you are okay with it as a starting position and are doing it for the educational aspect.
