I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Fidessa in Oct 2016
Interview
I was met at a career fair and talked with the recruiter for some time before handing her m my resume a week later I got an email to answer 3 questions on Hackerrank with a 30 minute time limit there were fairly easy after passing that I received another email to complete a one way video interview on sparkhire within 7 days which I have just completed yesterday
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidessa (Chicago, IL) in Oct 2016
Interview
I met with a manager during a campus career fair who looked at my resume. Next, I sent in my cover letter and resume via email for the Trading Support Analyst role in Chicago. I received an email inviting me to take a test on HackerRank, which I passed. Then, I received an email asking me to record myself via webcam answering interview questions on the SparkHire platform. This email, however, stated that I was selected for the next step for the "Technical" Support Analyst position. I completed the one-way video interview and was selected for the next step, which was supposed to be a Skype call with Hiring Managers. I scheduled a time to take this Skype call and received a confirmation email from Fidessa.
At the EXACT time that the Skype call was supposed to take place I received a phone call from Fidessa where they said the Hiring Managers were not able to call me today and asked me to reschedule. I was cancelled on at the exact last minute. About half an hour after the first phone call, I received another phone call from the same person stating that they looked at my resume and I would be a better fit for the Trading Support Analyst position. This is the position I was applying for from the beginning, and somehow I was sent an email to complete the SparkHire interview for a different position. I had to apply again and take the SparkHire interview a second time. The second SparkHire interview had 2/3 of the exact same questions as before yet this time I was rejected at this step. I was given the wrong video interview link from the start, then I was cancelled on last minute for the skype call, and then I had to repeat basically the same interview again. I passed the video interview for the wrong position and was rejected from the one for the correct position... I feel so badly treated :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(
