After normal CV checks there was an online verbal reasoning assessment. Then was invited to an assessment day in Woking head office. Consisted of group/individual interviews/tasks. Some technical and some more logic based.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fidessa (Woking, England) in Mar 2018
Interview
After applying I was sent an online verbal reasoning assessment.
I was then invited to an assessment day at their central offices in Woking.
There were 4 parts to the day:
-15-30 min group activity (non-technical) involving cards, working together to come up with an answer using all the clues on the cards.
- 30 min personal interview where I was mostly asked about my CV and some hypothetical situations.
- Another 30 min activity in which we had to create a plan to develop a digital system for payments in shops.
- A written coding test on Java. Code was mostly given. Identifying errors in code and extending small sections.
Staff were friendly and helpful.

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Fidessa (Jersey City, NJ) in Mar 2018
Interview
Was given one Hackerrank immediately after applying. Received second Hackerrank one week after finishing first. Received Hirevue one week after that.
Nothing for three weeks after Hirevue, so I emailed them thinking I was rejected. Replied to schedule an interview two weeks later. Interview was an hour long, first with two service delivery engineers and then a manager, entirely behavioral questions.
Received verbal offer from recruiter the next day with a week to reply. Got official documents a few days later.
The fact that I had to email them a month after the Hirevue, only to find out that I did get selected is kind of ridiculous.
