It's 100% true! I had the identical experience as the other interview reviewer. I wish I would've read it before I wasted my time and energy. They just want free work and advice. The person who interviewed me using Zoom didn't even show his face to me while I was presenting and that was a red flag. Another red flag, was when the head of marketing didn't even show up to my presentation even though I was told that he would be there. The final red flag was when I asked him how many candidates have done the "exercise" and he said 3 previous to me and none of them were brought in for a face-to-face interview. It's now clear that they were looking for free work and free ideas. Stay away!
