I recently completed the interview process for a Manager-level role at Figma. Overall, it was a positive and well-structured experience, though fairly intensive in terms of the number of stages involved. The process included multiple rounds (TA, hiring manager, peer, HR, panel presentation, and leadership conversations). Each stage was well conducted and focused on practical, real-world scenarios rather than theoretical questions, which I appreciated. The interviewers were engaging, and the overall tone was collaborative and respectful. One highlight was the speed and quality of final feedback — it was timely and specific, which is not always the case and made the experience feel considered. The panel presentation was based on a take-home scenario and was relevant to the role. One area for improvement would be providing slightly clearer guidance on how to frame the presentation — for example, the expected balance between data analysis and leadership perspective — as this would help candidates align more closely with expectations. In terms of coordination, communication was generally strong, though there were a couple of instances where follow-up was needed to finalise scheduling. Overall, a high-quality interview experience with thoughtful conversations throughout. While it didn’t work out in my case, I came away with a positive impression of the team and how they approach hiring.
