I was contacted by an internal recruiter with whom I had a phone screen before proceeding to the hiring manager interview. I’m not sure if the hiring manager was unprepared or just uninterested, but it felt like I had to supply most of the questions during our call. Most of their questions to me were already discussed in the lengthy phone screen and on my resume. I also didn’t get a good impression about the team’s leadership or cohesion from the interview.
