Interview
After the first phone interview with director of SD, I was asked to do an assignment before the F2F interview. It came as a surprise when I realized I needed to spend minimum of 1/5-2 days to do a good enough work with the assignment. I was asked to look for 3 real accounts and 5 real names for each. I liked the idea of assignment in general. However only 1-2 of each should be enough to show candidate's approach. Right or wrong I did it, and I did it well based on feedback I received in F2F interview. Giving such time consuming assignment in the very early stage of interview doesn't sound right, specially if they never ever come back to you with an email about next steps, either negative or positive. Yes, and I followed up after the F2F interview twice.
