I applied directly on the website and then reached out directly to the recruiter via LinkedIn. The recruiter scheduled a call with the VP I would have reported to for the next day. It was a 30 minute, frustrating, phone interview. The interviewer would ask questions and then not wait for an answer or not listen as I was speaking. He talked over me and asked me things that were clearly highlighted on my resume. i.e. 'Have you ever managed people?' when my res clearly outlined all of the many times I had managed people. He seemed more interested in talking about himself or debating whether or not says existed outside of the Bay Area bubble then interviewing me as a candidate.
Ultimately they could benefit by providing all hiring managers some basic interview training.
