It consisted of a screening phone call, followed by a call with the hiring manager, then an in-person interview. The questions were all very standard and not very difficult at all. Topics relevant to my background were described to me in detail, and continued to be explained even after I would comment that I had experience. One of the interviewers mentioned his accolades when doing this. Any response during such dissertations were ignored and the speech continued. The expectations for "correct" answers were pedantic. It was as if I was being interviewed for my verbal syntax, rather than capability. I felt unvalued.
