Interview
Initial phone screen was with COO, then a technical round with two senior CSE staff, then..it was time to meet the jerk ruining Files.com: Kevin - Kevin lived up to his reputation and was over 10 minutes late and had a stupid attitude.
Also, this was the first company ever that privately messaged me on linkedin stating everything you read about Kevin is true, so be prepared to deal with abuse on a daily basis as it will find you working for this small man.

I cannot disclose the technical questions. However Kevin asked how has COVID changed my communication style.

Interview
Applied for the position and was contacted within 2 weeks for an intro call. Upon the hiring manager describing the position it began to sound eerily like a hybrid role. Lo and behold after our call I returned to the job listing and they changed the title/added secondary criteria for documentation writer. Strikes me as disorganized/unprofessional to accept cover letters for a position and adjust job req's two weeks into process.
I suppose this falls in line with what I expected based on the reviews for this company - candidate beware!

Interview
What others have said is fairly true: The CEO prides himself on being a heavy-handed jerk in interviews (as in all things) and will hang up if his feathers are ruffled. When I interviewed I started a timer to see how long I could get him to talk because their site said they'd only interview for 20-30 mins and I got him to go for an hour and a half. He likes buzzwords and sycophants, but he's only really ever had one job many, many years ago, (he'll talk about it constantly) so he gets uncomfortable around people who have more updated skill sets or more senior professionalism, particularly in coding.

Get him talking about himself as soon as possible. He'll go on for an hour plus.
