I was referred for the job by a current employee who passed along my resume. I met with a recruiter who asked what my current and ideal job situation would be. I told him I preferred a situation like my current one (hybrid) but I was very interested in the role and open to other arrangements. The recruiter hmm'd and ha'd and basically checked out the rest of the interview and didn't seem interested in any of my answers to his questions or my questions, he just spent a lot of time talking about how important the in-office policy was. He never followed up.
