I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Finish Line (Marion, IN) in Oct 2011
Interview
One interview with store manager. After a couple days later, I followed up with them and he offered me the job over the phone. It wasn't a difficult experience what so ever, and the manager was very fair throughout the interview. The interview could differ depending on store but for the most part Finish Line has a wonderful staff in every store and is a fun environment to work in.

Question 1
Basic interview questions for the most part. You will need to know your strengths and weaknesses but thats no buggy. Just make a list and jot them down and you should be fine. Finish Line likes candidates to be knowledgable about footwear and its products so I would study a lot about trends if you are not familiar but it is going to be hard to land this job because that is your bread and butter for being a sales associate is being and expert in new lines and various brands of products.
Standard entry level customer service industry questions. Hired on the spot. Quick process one on with the manager. Got a tour of the store right after. Reviewed resume with manager and went over work history
The interview process typically includes an initial phone screening, followed by one or more interviews with team members or managers, assessing skills, experience, and cultural fit, with potential for final-round evaluations.
interview was very straightforward. some easy questions, some tough questions. there were lots of scenario questions that i loved answering. i am very eager to hear back for my second interview
