I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FireEye (Singapore) in Jun 2013
Interview
The hiring manager interviewed for a couple of roles, after discussion he decided that he is eager for me to join as a Designated Support Engineer (DSE) initially and to consider another role after working in the company. As the role is something I'm a very good fit for, and yet would have new challenges, and the package range was one I would accept, this sounded like a good move. The followup interview with a DSE in Japan with basic fitness for role and technical questions lasted a while and also went well.
Although I sent thank-you notes right away and followed up with the interviewers, I never heard again from the hiring manager or the recruiter. If there had been any follow-up I could have learned something and referred someone for either of the roles, also a good fit and fit the hiring manager's style.
