The interview process was well-handled and respectful of both my time and personhood. I initially applied for an Employment and Educational Specialist (EE) role and was offered the position. However, due to external factors, I was unable to accept it at that time. Several months later, I saw a Youth Advocate (YA) role advertised on Indeed and decided to apply. Once again, the interview process was conducted thoughtfully and efficiently. The team was able to reference my previous application and interview, using that information to move me directly into the final interview round. This demonstrated a strong presence of mind, organizational memory, and an efficient, thoughtful approach to hiring. The final interview was thorough and effective. It included a mock youth session, structured questions, and an opportunity for me to share my motivations for working with the organization. I felt that my potential contributions were truly valued. When I received the job offer, the recruiter spoke to me with warmth and respect, making me feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. It was clear that this organization not only values its mission but also the individuals it brings into the fold. I felt seen, respected, and like I would matter here.
