We started very professional, asking all the typical questions. We discussed past employment as well as challenges and how they were overcome. The Branch manager and Office administrator interviewed me initially, then the Manager stepped out and left me with what would be my immediate supervisor, the Administrator. We wound up laughing a lot and talking like friends. She told me that with this company it is very important that we feel open to communication, so comfort was key. We discussed my shortcomings A LOT, and I was given enough time to really think about my answers before explaining how I would like to grow from my weaknesses. I was hired despite my weaknesses because the Manager and Administrator both felt that someone interested in solutions and growth was more important than past mistakes.
