I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at FirstService Residential (New York, NY) in Oct 2013
Interview
Met with a few people, they asked me questions, it was more of a conversation than a rigid interview. I first met with HR, then the hiring manager, then another individual. It took approximately an hour or so, total. It felt laid back and comfortable but I was confident. They gave me a personality test when I first got to the office. The time that passed between the interview and the offer was awhile. A couple weeks.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at FirstService Residential
Interview
They asked basic questions about what I do at my current job, very basic questions and easy interview. The HR rep was non-existent, didn't hear back from anyone for weeks even when I was asking for a status update on a weekly basis. Even after being pushed through because of my stellar work history and numerous recommendations from people in the industry I still get ignored on basic status updates. Beyond unprofessional and very insulting that my emails were ignored for weeks on end.
