Fiserv has no respect for candidates and people's time. People are commodities and widgets to them. I was called to interview. Afterwards, they ignored my follow up note asking for feedback and next steps. There was dead silence for weeks. You'd think they didn't find me fitting, right? Oddly, they reached out again, and kept asking me to interview for additional roles. This went on for months for several roles. In every case, there was no follow-up for weeks after the phone interview. My emails asking for status were ignored again and again. Then, they'd say- hey, want to interview for this role? After months of this flip flopping, they asked me to come on-site for an interview. I was shocked, because I had heard nothing for quite a while. I declined the interview, telling them I wasn't interested in wasting my time anymore. I was tired of the unprofessional behavior and simple rudeness of Fiserv. Some companies do this to show due diligence when they already know whom they want to hire. They also do it to obtain free market intelligence from employees of clients and competitors. What they fail to realize is people talk. The candidate you toy with today might be a needed hire later or a client. After this experience, I ignore Fiserv. I have no interest in their job opportunities. As someone who works in financial services, I most definitely will not seek their products and services, because I want partners who operate with integrity.
