I was reached out to by a third-party recruiter on LinkedIn who then put me in contact with an in-house recruiter after an initial discovery call. The next call with the Fisher recruiter was informative and was asked my thoughts on the market. Then I advanced to the next round of interviews where I had a 30-minute interview, then a 15-minute mock client call, and then another 30-minute interview. A little bit of overlap on questions. I have a call with the VP today which will be my last interview and will know whether or not I am getting an offer. Advice: Prepare diligently for the formal interview as it is around an hour and thirty minutes long. Study their investment philosophy and anything about Ken Fisher and how they approach client conversations. Know how to talk about yourself in a clear and concise manner and be able to pull on stories about experiences with a difficult client and how you were able to solve it.

The initial phone interview felt incredibly rushed. Despite the position being marketed as a wealth management role, it is essentially a high-volume asset-retention phone center. The day-to-day focus is simply convincing clients not to transfer their money out of the firm rather than providing actual, comprehensive wealth management or tailored financial planning services. Very misleading job description.
