I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Fisher Investments
Interview
Very drawn out process but not too rigorous. Started with a brief phone screening with a recruiter, mostly just gauging interest, sharing info about the role and setting expectations.
This was followed by back-to-back 45 minute Zoom interviews with 2 AE Team leads. This was the most difficult part of the process but really not that bad, felt like bad cop/good cop. First interviewer was a little more cold, just had to match his energy and get him to warm up. Second interviewer was much easier to talk to, it felt like he was gauging how well you fit the culture (from the outside it appears to be a typical finance-bro environment).
After that there was another virtual meeting with a VP/head of team leads. There were some softball interview questions here, but really the meeting was more for setting expectations and making sure you know what you're getting into. After speaking to the VP, there was a brief 15 chat with an AE so you can get a grasp of the day-to-day.
This was followed by a brief check-in call with the VP where he answered any additional questions. I was told I was supposed to get the offer on this call, but I had a lot of questions so we ran out of time. Scheduled another call a few days later and received the offer.
I have some sales experience so that definitely helped, but certainly not needed. As long as you come across as confident, competitive, and conversational you should do fine.

Question 1
Q: When was a time you overcame a challenge? How did you overcome it?
Similar to most other interviews, very basic questions testing fit and values. Multiple rounds, but mostly wanted to learn more about you and why you wanted to work for Fisher.
It was clear and easy. The people were very friendly and they made sure to aska range of questions. There were 3 rounds I believe. The first two were more in depth to gauge character
I applied online. I interviewed at Fisher Investments (Plano, TX) in May 2026
Interview
Three rounds of interviews. The first one was on zoom. Second one was on site with a tour of the property. Final was on zoom again. Final interview was definitely the most difficult. At the end of the final interview I was told the hiring managers were going to review candidates and that I would hear from them by the end of the week. I never heard from them again. Very strange. Thought after 3 rounds of interviews they would at least reach out to tell me no.
