Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to explain a complex concept to someone with no background knowledge.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Fisher Investments in Jan 2021
Interview
A recruiter found me and messaged me on my LinkedIn, which instigated the process. I then spoke to a more senior recruiter, who set me up with two teams she thought I would be a good match for. I then did 3 back to back to back Zoom interviews, and later that week spoke to the hiring manager for my top choice team. Less than a week after that an offer was extended.
The entire process was timely and I felt valued as a candidate! Everyone I spoke to was kind, encouraging, and seemed to genuinely care about my experience. At every step, they moved quicker than I was told to expect which was amazing.
