Recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. We scheduled a phone screen to talk about the role. Schedule 2nd call with recruiter, 30 minutes. A few days go by with no comm from recruiter. Then I get notice that hiring manager wants to speak with me. I speak to the hiring manager but she doesn't really seem interested from the start of the call. Only asks surface questions like "tell me about a project that didn't turn out how you wanted.. why?". Hiring manager immediately got off the phone and didn't give me the opportunity to ask any questions. She said I could ask the recruiter questions. Don't hear anything again for a few days until I get a call simply letting me know they wanted someone more senior.
