I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Flexera in Sep 2017
Interview
I was setup through the entire process through a recruitment agency.
Communication between both the recruiter and Flexera was both fast and easy.
The application process can be summarised as follows:
CV submission.
30 minute phone interview with active team members
In this interview I was asked a variety of Java questions ranging on topics from OOP principles to java specific questions.
Overall an intense but quite easy session as well as an opportunity to ask about the company.
A brief run through of your CV is also expect during this stage.
Face to face interview
The next stage was a face to face at the Flexera offices in Maidenhead. This lasted roughly 2.30-3 hours and was very relax and layed back.
A brief introduction to the company of around 10-20 minutes.
This was followed by a more intense CV run through regarding previous experience and projects mentioned on your CV. This again was very relaxed and the questions weren't to catch you out, but to get a feel of your experiences.
This was followed by a "team exercise" where you are with active team members at Flexera and are asked to work through a problem to gauge how you solve logical problems as well as how you work in a team.
Finally a brief chat with the HR department about any issues or questions that may of been raised.
Overall a very fun and positive experience. I would recommend any prospective graduate to apply here.
The technical interview happened at the Flexera Bangalore office. They had organised it well and provided breakfast, lunch and a bag of goodies. The interview itself however, was disappointing. There were 10 different interview panels and all were asking varying levels of questions with varying levels of difficulty. So to rank all on the basis of marks given doesn't make sense as it is highly subjective. Cleared the technical round and made it to HR but had to wait over a week to find out about the result of the interview and there was no communication in between saying they will be announcing the results later (The had promised results the next day).

Interview
Online Test (from home):
The process began with an online test that I completed from home. It was the first stage, designed to filter candidates based on aptitude and technical skills.
Interview at the Office:
After clearing the test, I was invited to their office for the next rounds. The day started with a Group Discussion (GD), where communication skills and confidence were evaluated.
Technical Round:
Those who performed well in the GD moved on to the technical interview. Here, each candidate was assessed individually on problem-solving, subject knowledge, and practical application. This round was eliminative, meaning not everyone progressed further.
HR Round:
Only a select few who cleared the technical round were called for the HR interview. This stage focused more on personality, cultural fit, and career aspirations.
Final Results:
After all rounds were completed, the results were not announced immediately. Instead, they were sent via email a few days later to the shortlisted candidates.

Question 1
In the Group Discussion, the topic given was “AI replacing jobs”. We had to share our perspectives on how automation and artificial intelligence might impact employment in the future.
In the Technical Round, the focus was mainly on Data Structures and Algorithms (DSA). I was asked to solve coding problems and explain my approach. Additionally, they asked detailed questions about the projects listed on my resume, including the technologies I used, challenges I faced, and how I solved them.
