I had a short phone screen going over the usual suspects of why us, check ride fails, apply anywhere else, etc... It was very friendly and low threat. I thought all went well.
Fly you down and put you in a nice hotel with your group. Break fast the next morning and then all of you shuttle to the location. They do a sell you the company presentation then you break into pairs for the simulator and then go to individual interviews.

The Panel Interview was a breeze. Very laid back, conversational and nothing unexpected. The Sim portion of the interview was in a jet (which I have zero experience with) and no instruction was given. Was just told to hop into the seat, take off, circle around and do the ILS. Nothing too hard except, I had no idea how the jet handled or what power settings I should be using or anything. The beginning of the Sim was a little ugly. Nothing near a crash but not exactly smooth either. Near the end of my time on the Sim, I was beginning to get the hang of it and things had smoothed out considerably. All in all the Sim lasted maybe 15 minutes. At no point was any direction or instruction on it given.
