Interview
This was a great and quick experience and I liked the seamlessness of the operation that was done at Flipkart. It is a great company to work for I really like the warmth of the interview process that I was made to undergo
The interview was mostly on HR experience in the field and knowledge on the current flipkart policies. It was average and quite good. This was my first interview experience.
Overall good experience.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Flipkart (Bengaluru) in Jan 2014
Interview
Got contacted on phone and asked to come in the next day. And an hour before the interview I was told that it was rescheduled to the next day. The next day I reached, I was made to wait for 3 hours after which I was informed I was in the wrong building. I was to the right location where I had 3 interviews. The first and the second interviewer didn't know the job description themselves and I was told I would be told by the hiring manager. The hiring manager finally explained the JD, which as very vague. I as informed that I would be contacted soon. I was contacted a week later for 2 more rounds of interview. These interviewers did not have the previous feedback and went to check them and came back after 2 hours.
After another week, I was contacted and told about the CTC and then I asked about the JD again and the hiring manager was still vague and asked me to be ready to do any job function given for the first year.
In the space of 2 weeks; whenever I called; the recruiter would not pick up my calls even when I called 4 times in one day. They respond back only when they are ready and want to.
