I set up a call with the recruiter using their automated scheduling system. Once I got on the phone he thanked me for making time for him and he asked me what I knew of Flipp and at that point I knew very little about the company except for the fact that they have an app that my wife uses. After speaking to the gentleman I quickly realized just how much more Flipp is and I was really impressed, and I realized this was a place where I could see myself. I’ve never heard a person talk with so much passion about where they work! Unfortunately, I don’t think I did so great as I did not prepare as much as I should have, I really didn’t think a company about flyers was something I would be interested in because I’m actually really happy where I am and didn’t plan to leave but after hearing him out I wish I did my homework. The recruiter asked a lot of questions especially about my history and took the time to get to know me, and even asked how I handled very specific objections in my industry - I was actually surprised/impressed how much he knew. After my interview I looked up the recruiter to see his background because I thought he came from CPG and was surprised he didn’t because he knew a lot about it. I’ve never written a review like this and I only wanted to make sure that people don’t blow there chance by making assumptions about these guys like I did. Make sure you prep for your call, these guys know their stuff and are not like other recruiters out there. I wish the recruiters at our company were half as good.
