I applied in-person. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Flipp in Nov 2015
Interview
I had a phone interview and we then called for an in person interview. For the in person interview, they asked me to select couple of apps I like and discuss what I like am don't like about them. The guy spent over an hour with me discussing mobile apps - it was one on one.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What will you change in the app? What do you like about it and what you don't like about it?
I applied online. I interviewed at Flipp (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2017
Interview
I applied online and received an email asking to setup a call. The phone interview was pretty straight forward although the talent manager had some difficulty answering some of the most basic questions about the company and role and I still didn't really have a clear picture of what they did or what I would be working on after speaking to her. After that I was invited in for an in person interview and I thought to myself I'll go in and see the place for myself and hopefully have my questions answered. The interview was just over an hour with a couple of people from the team.
After the in person interview I didn't hear back from them and I called/emailed to follow up so I just assumed I didn't get the job.
