I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Flipp (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2016
Interview
Phone interview, in person interview, presentation then didn't hear back. Crickets... how rude.
worst candidate experience I have ever been trough. As a fellow recruiter, yes Im a but more judgemental on the process... but this was terrible. It felt like I was wasting their time as they were rude and late from the very first phone screen to my presentation. I didn't want to work out in that location anyways.

Question 1
How do you source candidates? How do you stand out from the other companies when recruiting talent?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Flipp (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2016
Interview
The interview process was a phone interview and a face to face panel interview. During the panel interview the founder who runs HR declared that he knows little about HR and Talent Acquisition. He was assigned the task of running the department. It seemed like an unwanted chore. During the presentation, it became clear that my skills and experiences were much beyond those of the interview team. As I shared ideas and best practices the HR leader became progressively combative in his communication style. Many of the questions asked of me were representative of an organization that is struggling. The office seemed empty. Perhaps many staff are working remotely. I decided to not pursue the opportunity to work at Flipp.
