Fluke posted the customer service position through Linkedin. I immediately received a response from the recruiting team to schedule a meeting with one of their ambassadors. The website to connect was easy enough but most of the ambassorders were already booked. I was able to find a company recruiter to chat with and the time and date were scheduled a week out. The day of our meeting, I received an email that she had to cancel and to reschedule with another company ambassador. I seacrhed and agin scheduled another meeting and again the person canceled at the last minute! I finally was able to get yet another meeting and the ambassador was awesome, answered all my questions about the company. She also mentioned that our meeting had NOTHING to do with the hiring process! My application was submitted over two months ago and I still haven't received a response! What is the point of meeting with a company ambassador if they company has no intention of contacting the candidate. The experience was a waste of my time and left a poor taste in my mouth. Advice to the hiring team, appreciate your candidates and treat them as you would want to be treated!
