I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Food Lion (Newton, NC)
Interview
First time I applied they tried to offer me another position for a lower pay and I declined they swore I wasn't going to get the compensation I was asking for from the beginning a week later I did. I reapplied for the CSM job a year later and met with the Store Manager and then district a week later for a follow-up interview. This time they wanted to give me assistant store manager promised to call and then never called. I know they do not invest in their team members and like to have outside talent that has been trained already. Nevertheless they are far too unorganized for my me.
Easy, fast and efficient. Casual attire is ok but you make a better impression and stand out from other candidates if you put effort into your appearance. Process is quick from interview to onboarding.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Food Lion (Atlantic Beach, NC) in Jan 2021
Interview
Easy. You enter and are asked questions such as "How do you deal with difficult decisions?" "Name a time you disagreed with a supervisor/member of management; how did you resolve it?" "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?" Things of the sort. No hard ball questions, in my opinion.
I applied online. I interviewed at Food Lion (Charlotte, NC) in Oct 2019
Interview
I was interviewed by the store manager and assistant store manager. Over all they were both very welcoming and laid back. I felt very comfortable during the interview. The interview flowed more like a conversation rather than an interview, which was nice.
