To get a job depending on which you go to they may prefer someone with experience which means less training. You will have to go on two interviews one with an Assistant Manager and one with the Store Manager. They ask the basic questions like strengths, weaknesses, why should they hire you and what is customer service. They might also ask you to sell them a random product as a test.

There was really no unexpected question. The only one that was different was for me to sell them a product, but it was pretty easy if you have a persuasive personality.
The interview setting is a group interview. Everyone was dressed somewhat casually and in their favourite sneakers. We were interviewed by the store manager and an assistant manager in both English and French since it was in Quebec. The questions were relatively easy, and it was easy to get your personality out there in this kind of environment.

If an item was out of stock, how would you handle that situation with a customer?
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
