I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Foot Locker (Boston, MA) in Dec 2014
Interview
Fairly easy. Only did one interview, the people there were friendly but seemed they were goofing off more than working. During interview they gave me forms to fill out they asked questions like what was the worst customer service I've experienced, etc.
The interview setting is a group interview. Everyone was dressed somewhat casually and in their favourite sneakers. We were interviewed by the store manager and an assistant manager in both English and French since it was in Quebec. The questions were relatively easy, and it was easy to get your personality out there in this kind of environment.

Question 1
If an item was out of stock, how would you handle that situation with a customer?
I applied online and got a phone call a week later to do the in person interview. In person I had to visit the store and ask for the manager that contacted me.
It was 10-15 minutes. Went pretty easy. They asked about me random questions and then told me about the job. The interviewer was nice and told me not to worry and that it is just general things.
