      Research Participant Recruiter Interview

      Feb 17, 2021
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fors Marsh

      Interview

      1. Cover letter and answer questions with working w/ focus groups, quantitative research, and recruitment 2. Phone call with recruiter (asked questions about goals, desired salary 60k is highest for this position, do not say more, challenge at workplace, start date, background with quantitative and qualitative research, specifically background with recruitment and what ways to recruit participants) 3. Send in a work sample (for recruiters, they send you a chart with means you have to make sure are accurate and correctly inputted on chart and also a list of participants that you have to rank in order of most important to contact for filling quota, and making a powerpoint). For researchers, you are sent tasks to do via SPSS and making a powerpoint. 4. (and maybe 5 if the supervisor for the team is on during the panel interview, mine wasn't, so I did 30 minutes with the supervisor after the panel was over). Questions included standard behavioral questions - goals, challenges, top skills, tell me about yourself, experience with recruitment and research, how to deal with conflict. Lots of questions on how to deal with conflict or difficult people (and participants). Make sure you bring in examples. Phone call was 30 min, panel interview (with two people) was 30 min and supervisor interview was 30 minutes. Took average of 2-3 weeks, would have taken much shorter time but there were some complications on my end. Day after I applied via their website, they responded by email with recruiter. Recruiter tries to find jobs with the right fit for you. Company has great benefits, work culture, very professional, tries to give you professional development opportunity (even pays you for volunteering!) and is amazing to work for remotely. Really chill work place, can dress informally and people are very chill and easy to get along with. Highly recommend FMG!

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Already included questions above. Pretty general, except for some recruitment related questions (you can apply other experiences to recruitment, aka customer service, social media, handling emails, diverse populations, public speaking, etc)
