I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Fortinet in Jan 2019
Interview
Grueling 6-stage interview process that spans months and wastes your time because they will string you along and treat you like a serious candidate even if you are not. Also, employees I knew that worked there told me privately later that I was fortunate not to get the job because the CEO and his brother run the company like a dictatorship and even after having 5,000+ employees he still insists he manually signs off on every offer. So, he can cause months of delays in getting an offer (if you do get one).
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Fortinet (Japan, PA)
Interview
There were two interviews. The first interview was with the hiring manager, and we mainly discussed my previous work experience, products I had handled, customer-facing activities, and my approach as a Sales Engineer. The second interview was with the head of the SE team in Japan. We discussed my understanding of the role, team collaboration, and expected responsibilities after joining. Overall, the interview atmosphere was calm and professional, and the questions focused mainly on my experience and way of thinking.

Slow process with poor communication from the human resources staff that sets up interviews. Technical staff were prompt, intelligent and friendly. The sales staff was not impressive in experience, personality, or technical knowledge.
