I applied online and got connected to a phone interview. The interview itself was unpunctual as I waited 20 then 40 minutes past my appointment time. As I was reaching out, the recruiter emailed me and said she tried calling me but wanted to reschedule as she couldn't reach me. There was a misunderstanding because in a previous email she said that she would call the number listed on my resume, but proceeded to send a google event along with a google call number. It was literally the most confusing confrontation ever. She then apologized and decided to call me on spot, shifting down to the next available 30 minute time slot without my consideration.
Right off the bat, I could tell that she wasn't going to champion for me for this position. The recruiter came off very standoff ish and responded with the same thing for 5 different questions. As I proceeded to ask her questions about the company, she responded with "I don't know" and avoided answering all together by cutting me off.
Very unprofessional. So fortunate to have dodged this bullet.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Forward (San Francisco, CA) in Apr 2019
Interview
Was a nice interview over the phone. A lot of behavioral questions and background review. Had a good impression after the phone screen that it will go on, but was not invited for onsite interview. Strangest thing is that after couple of months position still haven't been filled in. Probably looking for someone with very diverse and extensive background.
