The interview process took about 5 weeks. I had three different phone interviews. The first interview was set up as a screening interview with the recruiter. The recruiter was very nice and asked a couple of questions regarding my background and a bit about the mission at Forward. They emphasized strongly on mission driven individuals and focus very much on the fit at the company.
After the first interview, they quickly scheduled with two more of the operations managers for the following week. With my second interview, they asked mainly about my experience and more about the role. The interview went well, but they said they didn't think that I'd be a good fit for the specific operations role that they had in mind (they have several categories for operations). However, they were determined to see if I was a good fit for another team and instead scheduled an interview with a manager from a different team.
This interview was scheduled about a week later. The third interview was a bit more tough. Nothing was too technical, but very open-ended. Overall, I struggled with trying to pinpoint what exactly they were looking for the operations roles. They are a start-up so it's expected to be wearing multiple hats in the company. I would suggest really examining the company's missions and being familiar with their products in preparation for the interview.
