On a Wednesday night, the recruiter emailed me to set up a phone interview. On Thursday morning, I booked time on his calendar for Friday and followed up with an email to confirm and provide additional availability just in case. No response. About 30 minutes before the call, he canceled and asked to re-book so we could have plenty of time. I emailed back immediately and gave options for the next 3 days. No response. About 9 days later, I followed up again with a week's worth of availability. Again, no response.
There are multiple instances on here of this same experience happening to other people. I don't mind if they didn't pick me for the role, but don't ghost someone. Call it stress-test or whatever you want, but treat people how you want to be treated. It's really that simple.
