I went through two rounds of interviews for a position: an HR round followed by a Technical Behavioral round with the Engineering Manager. The second round, conducted via Zoom, was not particularly challenging and lacked depth in technical questions. The scheduling and organization of the interviews were problematic. The second round was rescheduled twice. During the first scheduled time, no one showed up on the Zoom call, leaving me waiting. Furthermore, the interaction during the interview was quite unusual. When I sought clarity on certain aspects of the company and inquired about its mission, the interviewer seemed reluctant to provide answers. At one point, she even remarked, "if we are done persuading you..." I felt compelled to clarify that my intention was not to be persuaded but merely to gather information. I believe that if a company expects candidates to answer their questions, they should be equally open to addressing the candidates' queries.
