      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Four Hands

      Interview

I first received a call to discuss the role, later I received an invitation for an hour long zoom interview. I spoke with three people in total. The person during the zoom interview seemed uninterested in my background even though it matched perfectly with the role and I maintained a positive attitude. The questions were basic and I wasn't challenged at all during this interview. Going into this I did some research on interviewing with this company and noticed there are a couple of comments on lacking diversity. I decided to interview anyway and checked out the employee list on their LinkedIn page and discovered there is definitely a diversity problem with this company. For the comment suggesting they got a feeling of not being hired because of race, I can agree and relate to that. It's hard to actually prove this theory since employers can easily say another candidate is more qualified but there is certainly that "vibe" you get. It's unfortunate that this company would rather focus on appearance rather than worth ethic; they could absolutely be missing out on otherwise talented individuals.
