They contacted me fairly quickly to set up an initial phone interview with a recruiter and things were moving quite rapidly from initial phone interview to virtual interview with the Department Leads. Things seems to be moving right along but then it came to halt for about 2 weeks with no communication. Then week 3, I finally received communication from the recruiter requesting for an in-person interview with the department. Again was super hopeful, but again didn't hear anything for a couple of days then all of sudden I received a communication on a Saturday with an offer. Signed the offer letter, but didn't confirmation as to whether or not I was truly hired. This went on for about a week, and according to the recruiter, they have a very slow moving internal approval process. The interview process was just slow, but the recruiter was very helpful and very communicative only after I initiated the conversation or follow-up.
