Two phone calls. One in person interview with three people including the CTO. In person interview was disorganized. I spent a lot of time waiting for people to free up, but the interviews went great until I met the CTO. He turned me off from wanting the job. Very full of himself. Promised to fire me if I didn't preform within the first 30 days. He's referred to as Stalin here and he is proud of it. Told me himself. The job description included about 1/2 of what they actually wanted you to do. After I was offered the job and sent in my salary requirements it sat for 10 days. I was then informed it was too much money and they were going to scale back the position while moving some of the responsibilities of the job to an internal candidate. I feel for this individual. They all looked overworked already. If you are looking for a solid work/life balance this isn't the place for you. One person I interviewed with was up the night / morning before till 4 am and was required to be back at work by 8 am. I'm all for working hard but after asking a few questions about their deployment strategy (copy/paste hysterical) I realized this is normal operating procedure. To sum up, I asked for a higher salary than I normally would have because you will be working 60 hours a week and paid for 40. The cost of benefits was a bit higher than I've seen as well, however they do offer a bonus every quarter which is nice, but is completely based on company performance which you really have zero control over. So, if you want work to be your life in would go here.
