A general HR phone screen followed by another phone interview focused on research. I was interviewed for the computational biologist position. However, the entire interview was not about bioinformatics at all. I didn't receive a single bioinformatics question. All the questions were about wet lab research, their products and the biological principles behind their products. One week later, I got a rejection letter saying I was not a good fit for the position. Of course, a basketball coach is not a good fit for a football team.

First HR call, then chat with a team member instead of the manager. Most question received from both are about my technical backgrounds. HR was very great with quick turnaround time, and ultimately they had a candidate who fits the profile better. Didn’t move forward to panel interview.
