Hiring manager was insistent on initially meeting face to face which was an issue as was then based in the North. The hiring manager seemed to be very interested in what strategy I would employee should I be successful, in all honesty hiring manager seemed very impressed with both experience and how I would handle the job, even showing signs of enthusiasm..... Which made what happened the days after the interview all the more confusing. General feedback I received was that I wasn't a "cultural fit" which can be interpreted in a few ways, especially considering a) I'm a naturalised British national who was born abroad and b) have a very distinct accent native to where I was born.
