French Connection interview questions

friend worked there and suggested i hand my cv in. spoke to manager about when i was available for itnerview, then came in a couple of days later. informal chat in the staff room, text afterwards to say i got the job and started within 1 week

I applied and got an email the night I applied to come in for an interview. I was interviewed by the manager first, who was very nice and said I would fit many roles from administration to assistant manager. She told me she was very interested in my application and wanted me to come back for a second interview and to come in for an orientation that weekend as well. I came back the next day for a second interview with the associate manager and she was very rude and condescending. She showed no interest. The next day I got an email saying I did not fit ANY roles in the company.
