I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fresenius Medical Care (Toledo, OH) in Oct 2018
Interview
I was acquainted with a couple techs where I work and they texted their supervisor with my contact information. So it was a referral but two days later when I was contacted by a recruiter I was still instructed to go to their web site and fill out an application. I was contacted about a week later by a supervisor and an appointment was set up two weeks later( their schedule, not mine). I interviewed (I think with the Cincinnati corporate supervisor, the local, and another, I cannot remember). Anyway, being that this was my fourth time I interviewed with this company, I really had hope to get this position. I received an e-mail one week later saying that they choose another applicant. It would have been nice if I had received a phone call. I have no idea what they are looking for in a candidate. I do know that they plan on hiring for more tech positions. I feel they wasted my time. So much for a referral... I think they are missing out in hiring a hard working RN that can learn, excel, work the long hours and give this company 100%. So when the Fresenius nurses come into hospital at 0430 because they are so short staffed and will be looking at 16 hour days,I guess I should be thankful I did not get hired by a company that cares so little about their existing employees.

There were three separate parts. First, a call with a recruiter, which was more like an info call, but I was also asked a couple of interview questions. Then an interview with the unit manager and director, followed by a job shadow.
