If you're a female don't waste your time applying at frito-lay. I have 2 references that work with in the company.. I applied 3 times. Finally on the 3rd time I got all the way to a sit down interview. Where it went really well. I than got denied once again. I asked my references how many women work with in frito-lay and their answer was "it's really rare to see a female employee as a merchandiser." Which is completely unfair. I meet all the qualifications. Both my past jobs were lifts objects over 40lbs and working at a fast pace. I'm use to working overtime, holidays and unpredictable schedules. Both job were all about Customer Service. So honestly what else could be the reason?
