Show up to interview- warehouse locked. No one in sight. Waited 30 minutes. RSR came to pick something up so I chatted with her. Told me everyone was off and the guy I was supposed to interview with was out of state.
Since the whole process is autogenrated and you actually never talk to a human to do phone interview or schedule interview there was no point of contact.
Emailed the only email I had when I got home for Frito Lay and never heard back
Guy I was supposed to meet calls me an apologizes that the days were mixed up. Dude, I took an afternoon off of work and sat in your parking lot and you want to make it seem like I mixed them up?
Schedule another meeting 2 weeks out. I show up and it is him and 4 other guys. I knew from the second I walked in the door they had no interest in hiring me. We sat in a room and they read questions from a sheet of paper. Didn't ask anything about my, my work life, my previous RSR (with other company) experience, nothing. Not personable- they literally were just checking a box by bringing me in. Didn't make eye contact.
I am young and fit so it wasn't like I walked in and they made a decision based on that.
I later spoke to another Frito Lay manager and they mentioned that Frito Lay is "trying to be more diverse." And they have to interview X amount of minorities. I know now that I was totally brought into because I was a woman and they needed to claim they interviewed a woman.
Wasted 2 days off of work for this interview.
It took 3 weeks after interview to receive rejection email.
