I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Frito-Lay (Topeka, KS) in Oct 2018
Interview
Simple automated interview, in persion "structured" interview and I assume there would have been another after that one Ive read 2 on 1 etc., I guess I wasnt aware shifts are only an estimate of the hours you'll work theyll call you in early make you stay late theirs no such thing as holidays off and you might not get days off for months. Im unavailable after 7 to take my kids to school so no go. Its obvious they have very high standards for what Id call a mediocre paying job they find a "qualified" individual and run them in the ground. The manager/interviewer looked like he hadnt slept in days and acted very tense/irritated after I told him it couldnt work, when they realise they need people and expectations are too high theyll probably give up and start using temp agencys felons random unemployable people.... typical manufacturing company...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions relate to previous instances in work history what have you done in the past to be a team player or when something was unsafe what was done and the outcome. Basicaly showing they have no interest in non experienced workers.
Interview after applying. which took around 3 weeks. and hired on the spot. They Asked basic interview questions of a typical interview
. Very easy process and I would recommend Frito lay.
In person interview in an office that felt rushed and asked a bunch of basic boring questions since they are just trying to hire as many people as they can since there is heavy turnover and want to hire a lot of employees quickly
The interview was super fun and engaging. The people who run Frito Lay are amazing and super hardworking people. I would work there again, no questions asked. The interview questions were fair.
